If you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you know that I like to play through long games and write up weekly updates. Sometimes, those games turn out to be massive open-ended games that I could lose myself in for months. Sometimes, they end up being charmingly goofy, and instantly become one of my favorites. And other times, they’re Dragon Age: Origins. But what could this next one be?

Similarly to Dragon Age, this next game is part of a franchise that I haven’t spent a whole lot of time with. Also like Dragon Age, I did play it years ago, but just kind of fell off. But with recent games in the series catching my attention and knowing that fans really like this one, I felt this would be a great one to finally play all the way through. Fire Emblem Awakening! With all the time I’ve spent this year on Fire Emblem Heroes and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, I really ought to have this one under my belt, right? As always, I’m planning on having these be weekly posts around Sunday. Hopefully we won’t end up with any massive delays like Dragon Age. But, plan on checking in on how I’m doing next week!
