This has been kind of a rough year for the blog. With me being busy with real life, I only managed to write nine posts, this being the tenth. But, believe it or not, I did actually play some video games, and I’m going to tell you my ten favorite ones!
2018 was a very weird year for me. On one hand, it was a very good year with plenty of great games, even if it didn’t reach the same heights as 2017. On the other hand, this is a year that I struggled to find time to actually play those games. As a result, a lot of the games on this list are ones that I haven’t finished. But, regardless, these are my ten favorite games of the year. Continue reading
In the lead up to E3 this year, Sony announced that they were going to focus on four games. Those were The Last of Us Part 2, Ghost Of Tsushima, Death Stranding, and Spider-Man. This led to people freaking out about how there would be no big reveals. Of course this wasn’t true, but this led to a pretty weird show. Continue reading
We’ve officially entered my favorite time of the year. All over the internet, obviously fake “leaks” and fairly thoughtful predictions of just what we’ll see at this year’s E3 have started popping up. So, of course, that means it’s time for me to post mine as well. Continue reading
This was a much crazier year than last year. When I had to make my top ten last year, I had only played a total of thirteen games all year. That’s how games I don’t even particularly like, such as Pokemon Go, made it on to my list. This year, I’ve played over thirty. That means that not only did I have to make way more cuts, but there isn’t a single game on here that I didn’t love. That’s better if you ask me. Continue reading
As I mentioned in my post about the Microsoft press conference, I’m a bigger fan of Xbox platforms than Sony ones. But even I can’t deny that Sony consistently has had the best E3 press conferences the last few years. From destroying the Xbox One’s nonsense DRM policies, to launching the PS4 at $100 less than their competition, to revealing dream games like Shenmue III and Final Fantasy VII Remake, Sony always brings their A game to E3. Which is why it’s a pretty big bummer for me to say that I felt let down this year. Continue reading
E3 is about a month away, and that means it’s time to start guessing what’s going to happen! This has been a yearly tradition of mine since long before I started this blog. Usually, I would post them as a long Facebook post. Last year, I did the usual post and wrote up a more detailed one here. This year, I’m just going to post them here, since the Facebook post gets buried pretty quickly. Continue reading
