It’s that time of the year again. Big video game announcements are just around the corner, and I’m going to make some predictions about them. They’re probably pretty bad predictions, my results never turn out too accurate, but it’s fun to do anyway. This is also an interesting year as Nintendo will have just released the Switch 2 when these shows air, and Xbox is in a very different place than it traditionally has been. But here’s my predictions!

E3 Or Whatever 2024 Results In November
I realized today that I never did a results post for my E3 predictions this year. It’s way, way too late for that now, but you know what? I’m writing a post every day this month, so why not finally talk about how I did. Feel free to go back and look at what I was saying back in May (yes, May!) before seeing how I did.

It’s that time of the year again. E3 itself may be gone forever, but video game companies will still absolutely make big announcements in May and June. As always, I’m here to make predictions about them. There will almost certainly be more, but I’ve chosen five shows to make predictions for. Three that we already know the dates for, one that we know the month it’ll happen in, and one that according to leaks should be happening in the next week or so.

Once again, there is no E3. But we won’t let a silly thing like the show getting cancelled stop us from predicting what’s going to get announced! There’s still plenty of individual presentations from publishers happening during what would normally be E3 time. There’s even one happening tomorrow!
E… 3 2022? Predictions?
How is it June already? It feels like just yesterday I was writing my top 10 games of the year list. But I guess that’s what happens when you do a terrible job of keeping up on your blog. But enough about that, it’s E3 Season! There may not be an actual E3 this year, but when has that stopped me from posting E3 predictions?
E3 2021 Predictions
After taking last year off, E3 is back with an all digital show, and that means I’m back to make some predictions about it. I mean, I made predictions based on the weird amount of shows that popped up to fill in the void last year, so it’s not like I really went anywhere, but this time it’s for something that’s actually called E3! That being said, this is still another pretty weird year.
E3(?) 2020 Predictions
This has been a pretty weird year, right? I don’t really need to get into how unprecedented the times are, you’ve heard it all already, but as a result, there is no E3 this year. Now, how am I supposed to do E3 predictions when there isn’t an E3? Well, thankfully there’s a bunch of little events that more or less replace E3 this year, so we’ll just use those. Continue reading
E3 2019 Predictions
It’s that time again! Every year, about a month off from E3, I write a list of predictions for the press conferences. It’s going to be a little smaller than last year, as a couple companies aren’t having conferences this year. But that’s okay, I’ll still do predictions for the ones that are happening. Continue reading
E3 2018 Predictions
We’ve officially entered my favorite time of the year. All over the internet, obviously fake “leaks” and fairly thoughtful predictions of just what we’ll see at this year’s E3 have started popping up. So, of course, that means it’s time for me to post mine as well. Continue reading
