Hey, I’m Back!

It’s a new year, and with that comes new plans for the blog. The last few years, I’ve really fallen off of regularly writing new posts. I’m hoping to correct that this year. This will be a really quick post, I just want to go over what I’m planning to do.

I’m going to write at least one post each week. This post could be anything, a first impressions post, a full review, discussing an announcement, reviewing an older game, just typing out my thoughts, whatever. They might be long, they might be short, but they will be there. This is less than previous plans, where I had a minimal of two posts, usually Random Game Wednesdays where I’d talk about a random game on a Wednesday, and a Check-In series, where I would play through a long game and talk each week about my progress. I have less free time than I did back then, so committing to one post makes more sense to me.

Speaking of the recurring features on the site, I’m not planning on bringing back Random Game Wednesdays or the Check-Ins at this time. If I find that I’m doing well with the one post, I’d like to try to bring them back, especially Random Game Wednesdays, but I’m not committing to that. How About That Direct, the feature where I discuss my thoughts on Nintendo Directs WILL be back, it just might count as the one post for that week.

Assuming E3 is really back this year, I’m hoping to go all out like I used to. There will be predictions and opinions for each major press conference. E3 is my favorite time of the year, as long-time readers already know. I really hope that this year it comes back strong and is worth throwing that much effort into it.

And that’s about it! Maybe not the most exciting first post of the year, but I just wanted to let everyone know what I’m up to this year. And I hope some of you will stick around and see what I come up with.
