Reviewing E3 2019: Microsoft Press Conference

I was a little stuck on what to write for this week’s second post, when all of a sudden inspiration hit. What if I revive my absolute least successful series from the first year of the blog? This may sound stupid, and it is, but the fact is that other than the predictions post, I didn’t cover E3 at all last year, and that’s awful. Ubisoft Doesn’t Blow Any Minds, But It Put On A Solid Press Conference

Coming off of the Square-Enix conference, it was easy to feel really let down by E3 this year. Sure, Microsoft’s showing was outstanding and full of surprises, but everything else was mediocre at best and atrocious at worst. Why Did Square Even Bother To Have A Press Conference?

Square-Enix isn’t a company that often has a press conference at E3. To my knowledge, this is only the second, and that’s after taking a couple of years off. The last one was pretty rough, with just some rehashes of stuff we already knew about and a sequel to Nier that seemed like a terrible idea at the time.
