Dragon Age: Origins Check-In Week 2

Finding time to play long, demanding games when you’re also working a full time job and trying to keep up on other things is surprisingly difficult. But that’s what this series is, and that’s what I’m going to keep doing. As of right now, my current play time in Dragon Age: Origins is 6 hours and 55 minutes, and my main character is level 8. If you read the previous week’s entry, you know that I kind of screwed up and forgot to write down my time and level before starting week 2’s play session, so I don’t know how much actual time was spent this week.  Continue reading →

Dragon Age: Origins Check-In Update

As I’m sure everyone has noticed, week 1 of Dragon Age: Origins Check-In is not up yet. My actual job has been really crazy this week. I haven’t had a single day that I didn’t end up working overtime. I was planning on getting it written afer work yesterday, but after over two hours of overtime, the only thing I could get myself to do last night was lay on the couch, watch YouTube, and play Fire Emblem Heroes. And now it’s Wednesday and I have to work on Random Game Wednesdays.

So, yes, I’m still planning on getting it up this week, just later than I originally wanted. I might even get it up tonight, but that’s not a promise. Thanks for your patience, I’ll get it up as soon as I can.

Announcing Dragon Age: Origins Check-In

It’s been a little while since the last time I did one one of my “Check-In” series. I’ve spent that time debating on what game to do next and when to do it. After a lot of thinking, it came down to Fallout: New Vegas or Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age won out in the end, but I think I’ll still end up doing Fallout some time down the line. As for when, the first episode will be up next week. Like my previous Check-Ins, I’ll be aiming for a Sunday release, but it might be a day or two later. Continue reading →
