Kirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe Demo Impressions

I consider myself a pretty big Kirby fan, going all the way back to Kirby’s Dream Land on the Game Boy and Kirby’s Adventure on the NES, but there are several of his games that fell through the cracks for me. One of those was the 2011 Wii game, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land. Luckily for me, there’s a remaster of it with some new content coming out in about a week. Even more luckily, as part of last week’s Nintendo Direct, a demo was released. So let’s check it out.

Random Game Wednesdays: Kirby’s Dreamland 3 (SNES Nintendo Switch Online)

I really like Kirby, but for whatever reason, his Super Nintendo games are a bit of a blind spot for me. But, a couple of them are available on the Nintendo Switch’s SNES app and the random number generator decided I should check out Kirby’s Dreamland 3. Dreamland 2 was one of my favorite games on the original Game Boy, but is 3 a worthy successor? Well, it’s kind of hard to say after only playing through the first world, but here’s what I thought. Kirby Star Allies And Wasted Potential

Have you ever played a Kirby game? While the occasional spinoff game will make some unexpected changes to the tried and true formula, most Kirby games play pretty much the same, but with an added gimmick. One might introduce new animal friends, or maybe a giant robot suit for Kirby to ride around in. In his newest adventure, Star Allies, Kirby gains the ability to turn enemies into friends. Kirby Star Allies Demo Impressions

A few days ago, Nintendo released a demo for Kirby Star Allies on the European eShop, but for us Americans who didn’t want to bother with making a European profile, it just came out today. I’ve always really liked Kirby, especially Kirby’s Adventure on the NES, so I’ve been really looking forward to the pink puffball’s debut on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Had Mind-Blowing Reveals, But Could Have Shown More

Finishing off the E3 Press Conferences was the Nintendo Spotlight, a 25 minute pre-recorded video full of announcements and updated looks at games. Despite the short length, Nintendo managed to put a whole lot of great stuff in there, including a couple announcements that fans have been waiting forever to hear.
