Countdown To Switch 2: Best Of The Switch

It’s been eight years since the Nintendo Switch launched, and I’ve talked about it a whole lot on this blog in that time. It’s pretty crazy to think that at the time of this writing, the Switch 2 is only one week away. Before we put the original Switch to rest, I thought it’d be cool to write a little bit about my favorite games on the system. This won’t be the most comprehensive list. I was thinking of the best way to do this, and decided to do the highest ranking Switch game on each of my game of the year lists. That means there’s going to be a bunch I miss, but I can’t make this post a million words long. So, let’s get started.

What I Want From The Next Animal Crossing

I have played Animal Crossing: New Horizons every day since the day it came out. I’ve slowed down a lot since the early days, mostly just saying hi to all my neighbors and digging up all my fossils and little things like that lately. With the successor to the Nintendo Switch coming some time next year, I’ve been thinking about what I’d like to see in the next Animal Crossing game. So here’s a few things I’d like to see.

How About That Direct?| Animal Crossing Direct 2/20/20

It’s safe to say that Nintendo fans are pretty starved for big announcements. We’re currently in the biggest gap between general Nintendo Directs in the history of Nintendo Directs being a thing and we have no idea what the company plans to release after March. So, when Nintendo announced an Animal Crossing Direct a couple days ago, it was easy to be a little disappointed. But, that game is only a month out and we knew very little about it.
