Random Game Wednesdays: WCW Backstage Assault (N64)

While browsing a thrift store some time last year, I came across a blue Nintendo 64 cartridge. Upon inspecting it, I learned it was a copy of WCW Backstage Assault, I could have it for less than five dollars. I have never really enjoyed any of the N64 wrestling games, even the ones that everyone says are great, but I happen to know that this isn’t one of those. I’m also something of a late bloomer when it comes to being a wrestling fan, so this game is based on an era of wrestling that I don’t have any nostalgia for. But, it would be funny to own the bad wrestling game and it was cheap, so it came home with me. It has sat on my shelf ever since.

A Review Of Big Buck Hunter Arcade For Some Reason

The other day, popular Twitter and Bluesky account, Wario64, posted that Big Buck Hunter Arcade was being delisted from Steam on Tuesday and it was currently $10. With the exception of an old Windows Phone version, I have never played any of the home releases of the Big Buck Hunter series, mostly because I just don’t think the game would work without the actual arcade setup. That being said, I love the arcade game, so I decided to download Big Buck Hunter Arcade to my Steam Deck.

How About That Direct?| Nintendo Switch 2 4/2/25

After months of waiting and rampant speculation, we finally got some real information on the Nintendo Switch 2. Obviously, I’ve been losing my mind over the possibilities this whole time. There are very few things I enjoy as much as I enjoy a new Nintendo platform’s launch, and this is only the second one to happen since I started writing this blog! But, did the Direct live up to my expectations?
