Random Game Wednesdays: Dragon’s Lair (SNES)

Dragon’s Lair is a 1983 arcade game by RDI Video Systems. Its most well known for featuring animation by Don Bluth of An American Tale and The Land Beford Time. Gameplay involved hitting the correct buttons to match what was happening on screen, basically what we call quick time events. The interactive animated feature film look really stood out compared to other arcade games of the time. But what do you do with the game when trying to put it onto platforms that don’t support that kind of video?

Random Game Wednesdays: Medal of Honor (PlayStation)

The original PlayStation isn’t really known for its first person shooters, but there are a few notable ones. When I think of exclusive FPS game son the console, the one that I immediately think of is the original Medal of Honor. This was a World War II themed shooter thought up by Steven Spielberg, of all people, during the making of his movie, Saving Private Ryan. That’s a neat thing, but does the game still hold up?
